High Purity Liquid Oxygen (O₂)

Oxygen is a colorless and odorless gas. It is the most common elemental form of oxygen. As far as technology is concerned, oxygen is extracted from the air liquefaction process, and oxygen in the air accounts for about 21%. Oxygen is a colorless and odorless gas with the chemical formula O2, which is the most common elemental form of oxygen. The melting point is -218.4°C, and the boiling point is -183°C. It is not easily soluble in water. About 30mL of oxygen is dissolved in 1L of water, and the liquid oxygen is sky blue.

The chemical properties of oxygen are more active. Except for rare gases and metal elements with low activity such as gold, platinum, and silver, most of the elements can react with oxygen. These reactions are called oxidation reactions. Redox reactions refer to reactions in which electrons are transferred or shifted. Oxygen has combustion-supporting and oxidizing properties. Medical oxygen plays a vital role in hospital treatment and clinical care, such as resuscitation, surgery, and various treatments. Oxygen can also be used as breathing gas for diving after being mixed with nitrogen or helium. Commercial oxygen can be obtained by liquefying and distilling the air in the environment in an air separation plant. . The main industrial application of oxygen is combustion. Many materials that are normally incombustible in air can burn in oxygen, so mixing oxygen with air greatly improves the combustion efficiency in the steel, non-ferrous metals, glass and concrete industries. After it is mixed with fuel gas, it is widely used in cutting, welding, brazing and glass blowing to provide a higher temperature than air combustion, thereby improving efficiency. Storage precautions: Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. The storage temperature should not exceed 30°C. It should be stored separately from combustible materials, active metal powders, etc., and avoid mixed storage. The storage area should be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment.
